Commanded a Flight of approximately 30 personnel operating the Aster 30 ground-based air defense system as a Flight Commander in 163 Squadron, Republic of Singapore Air Force — real-time systems where detection, decision, and response have to work under pressure, every time.

ABOUT

My career started in a role where the cost of a bad system was measured in the worst possible terms — commanding an air defense unit means the feedback loop between decision and consequence is immediate and unforgiving. That's the lens I've carried into everything since: engineering degrees that taught me how systems are built, and now a Stanford MBA aimed at learning how to decide what gets built at all.

I'm drawn to problems that sit at intersections — hardware and software, human judgment and automated systems, operational discipline and product ambition. I'm currently exploring product management in tech, with a particular interest in the infrastructure, ML tooling, and platform layers where technical depth and product judgment both matter.

Republic of Singapore Air Force

Flight Commander, 163 Squadron — Aster 30 ground-based air defense system. Led a Flight of approximately 30 personnel.

2015–2019

Northwestern University

Awarded the Public Service Commission Scholarship — Singapore's competitive national scholarship, a prerequisite for the Singapore Armed Forces Scholarship also received — to pursue Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Engineering. Exchange semester at ETH Zürich, Fall 2018.
